Burberry Bot: AI-Powered Conversational Concierge
During my time as a top-rated freelancer on Upwork, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project with Master of Code Global for Burberry. The project involved developing a sophisticated conversational AI chatbot to elevate Burberry's online shopping experience. My role was to contribute to building and implementing the AI-powered features that allowed the chatbot to assist customers with personalized product recommendations, fashion show live streams, and more.
The chatbot, integrated into Facebook Messenger, transformed how Burberry interacted with customers online. I helped design the flow for the in-bot eCommerce features, enabling users to shop directly from the chatbot and engage with personalized, interactive product suggestions. Additionally, I implemented NLP and conversational UX logic, ensuring that interactions felt natural and seamless. The bot even allowed users to watch live fashion shows and receive event notifications-all within their messaging app.
One of the key challenges was ensuring a smooth transition from chatbot to live customer support for more complex inquiries, which I handled by integrating Salesforce LiveAgent. This made the chatbot not only a shopping assistant but also a powerful customer service tool.
By leveraging technologies like Node.js, Chatfuel, and Microsoft LUIS, I was able to build an AI system that enhanced customer engagement, drove online sales, and provided valuable insights for Burberry’s marketing strategies. The project successfully improved customer loyalty and enriched the brand experience through a seamless blend of AI, luxury, and fashion.
